Jacob and family |
Jacob, a child soldier in South Sudan during the 22 year war, was resettled in Australia. Now Jacob wants to help his friend Abraham Deng Nyok, head teacher of Kongor Primary School, to rebuild the school in his home town which was destroyed during the brutal war. They passionately want to give the present generation of children a chance at a life free from poverty and war. Free from being child soldiers. Education is the key. Abraham Deng writes; “All institutions of learning have been destroyed, however, the pupils are studying under trees. Can you help build a school for our children?”
Kongor School Support Group has taken up the challenge but we cannot do it alone! If you can help contact us on sgrar07@gmail.com
